Volunteer With APNM and Work for the Animals!
Animal Protection of New Mexico is looking for energetic, enthusiastic individuals to join our lifesaving work for animals on a volunteer basis. Apply today and discover opportunities that fit with your interests and schedule!
Volunteering with APNM can mean anything from staffing outreach booths, to fundraising and literature distribution; Research, education, administrative work and much more. The application below offers a variety of options for you to choose from, encompassing all of APNM's programs, and we will work to match our needs with your skills and interests.
APNM considers volunteers as unpaid staff, and as such, we require
volunteers to apply for positions, participate in an interview,
sign a volunteer contract, and make a commitment to help us accomplish
our goals to help animals. As you can see, we value all of our volunteers and
take very seriously their role with us.
Animal Protection of New Mexico has a fairly small paid staff with specifically assigned programs and goals. In order to ensure that we create a satisfying match between volunteers and APNM paid staff, we ask that you give considerable thought to what kind of work you want to do and how much time you can commit before filling out the Volunteer Application. We also want to be sure that all volunteer assignments will augment the work our staff is currently undertaking. Click to review our current year’s initiatives.
To be considered for a volunteer position, please return the application, linked below, with a resumé if you have one. Our staff
will review your application and contact you to discuss matching
your skills and interests with APNM’s ambitious goals.
We thank you again for your interest, and look forward to hearing from you soon.
