Come to
APNM’s
30th Anniversary Party,
Oct. 18!
Join APNM to Reflect on the Successes,
Renew Commitment to Animals in New Mexico
It was 1979, Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” and Little River Band’s “Cool Change” were top songs of the year. These hits would become symbolic of New Mexico’s important animal protection movement that had its modest beginning in Santa Fe that year.
What began 30 years ago as a local group called Sangre de Cristo Animal Protection would become the statewide Animal Protection of New Mexico, regarded by many today as a potent force for change for the state’s animals.
Because of the vision, persistence and fortitude of so many people throughout its history, APNM’s 30 years have created numerous positive changes that have benefited thousands of New Mexico’s animals and dozens of communities.
