COLFAX COUNTY

Low-cost spay/neuter, cats only, available to qualified low-income persons. Contact for application form. Mobile clinics can be arranged.  3 veterinary locations: Small Animal Hospital in Angel Fire, Trinidad Animal Clinic (will also take NM clients) and High Horse Ranch Veterinary Clinic in Gardner, CO (will also take NM clients).

Free TNR for neighborhood cats in rural communities in Las Animas and Huerfano Counties in SE Colorado. Public education programs provided. Colfax County residents welcome at free TNR clinics at Trinidad Animal Clinic and High Horse Ranch Veterinary Clinic. $40 rebate for purchase of humane trap; $20 rebate to transport TNR cats to and from participating vet clinics.

Free mobile clinic spay/neuter services to cats and dogs in Huerfano and Las Animas County households. Colfax County residents also invited. Contact for details.

GRANT COUNTY & HIDALGO COUNTY

H.A.L.T. (Halt a Litter Today) is a low-cost spay/neuter program serving Grant County. Make appointment with one of four local vets listed on the shelter's website, then visit the shelter to fill out a short information form and pick up a coupon covering 1/2 to 3/4 of the cost. There are no income requirements.
