If you love animals, you’re in the right place. Just like you, we know that compassion toward animals benefits everyone. And when you join us, there is so much you can do to help animals in New Mexico. Will you consider doing one or two things right now?

  1. Sign up for our email eAlerts →
We’ll keep you posted on what’s happening for animals, and how you can help. It’s the best way for us to keep in touch. You can also follow us on Facebook (animalprotectionnm), Instagram (animalprotectionnewmexico), and Twitter (@APNM).
  2. Make a donation
Take a look around our website to see all we do, including working to pass dozens of laws, such as bans on cockfighting, horse tripping, coyote killing contests, and use of traps/snares/poisons on public lands, making animal abuse a 4th degree felony, securing state funding for spay/neuter, preventing horse slaughter from coming to New Mexico, helping end the use of chimpanzees in invasive research, creating a state fund/funding mechanisms to support horse shelters, helping horses through our equine protection fund, providing humane education classes, now statewide (virtual), assisting communities with animal sheltering resources and more, operating statewide animal cruelty hotline, providing plant-based eating resources, promoting wildlife coexistence, and so much more. But none of this is possible without the support of people like you—people who love their companion animals and who value the lives of all animals. Every dollar makes an impact.

Thank you very much. We look forward to getting to know you.
