Examples are when you donate through our third-party payment processor and/or automatically through your use of our websites. The information we collect includes personal information that identifies you. We collect information such as your name, e-mail address, and mailing address, and/or mobile phone number.
Uses of information
We may collect personal information in connection with signing up for newsletters, making contributions or downloading our literature. We may use your personal information to send you details about opportunities to support APNM. If you opt in to receive text messages (“SMS”) on your mobile phone, we will use the phone number to send you information via text. Although we do not charge for this service, standard messaging and data rates may apply. Your personal information may be used to provide, analyze, administer, and improve our websites and activities; to identify and authenticate your access to the parts of our websites and services that you are authorized to access; to protect our rights or our property and to ensure the technical functionality and security of our websites; and as necessary to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

Unsubscribing from communications
All e-mail messages from APNM include the option to unsubscribe or modify your preferences. You may subscribe to or unsubscribe from e-mail communication from us at any time. If you sign up for our SMS program, please follow the instructions to opt out at any time which may include replying STOP via SMS. We protect the information gathered through our websites. Our websites have security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of the information under our control. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is absolutely secure.
