La leche de la escuela debe nutrir a los niños, no perjudicarlos

¿Sabía que más del 60 % de los estudiantes de las escuelas de Nuevo México son intolerantes a la lactosa?

¿Y que, a pesar de esta estadística, el Programa Nacional de Almuerzo Escolar solo ofrece leche de vaca altamente subvencionada a la hora del almuerzo?

Por eso estamos trabajando intensamente para hacer cambios que permitan a los estudiantes de las escuelas acceder a leches vegetales nutricionalmente equivalentes, como la leche de soja.
