Animal Protection New Mexico (“APNM”) respects the privacy of its website visitors. We created this policy to address our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of any personal information that you provide to us while using our website. This policy applies to personal information collected or processed through our website and applications, including apnm.org.

We collect information that you provide such as your name, e-mail address, and mailing address, and/or mobile phone number. We may collect personal information in connection with signing up for newsletters, making contributions or gifts or downloading any of our literature. If you sign up for emails/newsletters with us, we will send you details about opportunities to support our work via email. If you sign up for SMS messages, we will send you SMS messages about opportunities to support our work. Standard messaging and data rates may apply to those SMS messages. See “Unsubscribing” paragraph below on how to unsubscribe from any APNM communications.

From time to time, we may partner with third-party vendors to work on our behalf to provide direct mail communications to our website visitors whom we think may be interested in our programs and services. Our vendors may collect your personal information, including your name and mailing address, for the purpose of sending you direct mail communications. If you do not wish to receive direct mail communications, please contact us at info@apnm.org.

While we do not intentionally collect personal information from children, we are required to disclose whether our privacy policy enables children to make their personal information publicly available and how we use such information. The parent or guardian can review and/or ask us to delete the child’s personal information and refuse to permit us in further collection or use. All e-mail messages allow you to unsubscribe or modify your preferences. You may subscribe to or unsubscribe from e-mail communication at the bottom of our emails at any time. To unsubscribe from receiving text messages, simply text “STOP”. You may also send either a letter via postal mail or an email containing your name, address, telephone number, and email address to info@apnm.org if you have any questions or need help opting out from any of our communications.
