Horse Shelter Rescue Fund Tax Check-Off
In 2013, with leadership from Animal Protection Voters, the New Mexico legislature created the Horse Shelter Rescue Fund within the New Mexico Livestock Board, to help fund licensed horse rescues through voluntary contributions of tax refunds.
Use your state tax refund to help horses at licensed horse shelters and sanctuaries across New Mexico.
Download the 2021 PIT-D form and instructions.
Even if you don’t receive a state tax refund this year, consider contributing directly.
