Dogs: Residents of Socorro County can get financial assistance to spay/neuter their dogs through APAS. Income qualifications do apply. APAS will pay $200.00 of the cost of spay/neuter surgery at one of the Socorro veterinary clinics. For more details, please contact APAS at 575-418-7848.

Information: The Santa Fe Animal Shelter and Humane Society offers low-cost spay and neuter programs to help ensure fewer unwanted puppies and kittens and to help with overall health of pets. There are limited no-cost spay or neuter surgeries available for qualified families. All services are by appointment only and with curbside check in for your convenience.
